Shree Krishna Rice Mills – Premium Basmati Rice Exporter for Afghanistan
Shree Krishna Rice Mills is a trusted Indian producer and exporter of premium Basmati rice for Afghanistan. With more than twenty-five years of experience, we supply high-quality rice to importers, wholesalers and traders across Afghanistan, the Middle East and Central Asia. Our focus is consistent quality, clear communication and dependable delivery timelines.
Quality Made for Afghanistan’s Market
Afghanistan has a strong preference for long, clean grains with a pleasant aroma and stable cooking performance. Each batch at our automated mill is checked for grain length, purity, moisture and cooking behaviour before packing, ensuring uniform quality in every shipment.
Afghan importers often compare Indian Basmati with Pakistani Basmati due to Pakistan’s strong presence in the local market and easier road transportation. Pakistan’s rice can show slightly stronger cooking performance because of two natural factors:
Water Source
Pakistan’s Basmati is grown with canal irrigation from the Indus River, which provides a consistent flow of water and supports even grain development. Indian Basmati mainly relies on tube-well groundwater, where mineral variations can influence cooking behaviour.
Moisture Levels
Rice from Pakistan’s canal-irrigated fields usually carries a stable moisture level of about 9–10 percent. Indian Basmati often has 12–12.5 percent moisture due to groundwater irrigation and sea transit of ten to twelve days, during which grains absorb some moisture.
Despite these natural differences, Indian Basmati remains a preferred choice in Afghanistan. Its competitive pricing, long grain structure and attractive aroma make it a dependable option for wholesalers, traders and retailers looking for strong value.
